Weston Urban is downtown San Antonio’s leading real estate developer, responsible for the development of several critical projects, including Weston Centre and the new Frost Tower (opening 2019). Since 2016, our firm has assisted Weston Urban with several critical press announcements and outreach to the business community.
About Weston Urban
Weston Urban's needs are simple: Raise awareness of its downtown real estate projects and connect it with business (tenant) stakeholders.
Our approach since 2016 has been to first, identify and build trusted relationships with regional media covering San Antonio-area real estate. Second, we've actively built relationships with stakeholder organizations, including your professional groups (employees of stakeholders) and business leaders. This simple-yet-focused approached has allowed us to share the Weston Centre message of urban renewal in a very efficient manner, allowing us to attract new tenants for our projects and the support of politicians and the community.
Since 2016, our firm has successfully announced the launch of the following downtown projects: Weston Centre renovations, Geekdom opening, Frost Tower opening, Frost Tower open house, Royal Blue Grocery opening, and much more.
Since 2016, our various publicity campaigns have earned over $2.2 million in earned media placement, plus have assisted in increasing occupancy at our project sites to over 90% aggregate.
In addition, we have helped produce 6 community events in conjunction with our project sites, attracting over 10,000 guests aggregate. The positive online sentiment of the properties increased by 30%, using measurements via Facebook and Twitter, thus confirming increased "buzz" about our various properties and projects.
At the conclusion of the 2016 school year, we exceeded IDEA's baseline metrics, by securing over 40 media hits (placements and/or appearances), with a dollar value of over $900,000.
To date, in 2017-2018 campaign, we are halfway to meeting the 40 media hits in each market (80 total), and have earned over $500,000 in media for San Antonio and Austin, combined.
