In 2020, Costa Pacifica had worked with marketing and digital agencies previously, but without a consistent long-term plan to enhance its brand and better connect the restaurant with the community. Its unique offerings of coastal seafood with a variety of dishes that can’t be found in other restaurants around San Antonio provided special selling points that were being neglected.
Moris Saide and Tommy Vidal, owners of the restaurant group, along with other entertainment venues and restaurants, reached out to our team to request a public relations plan that would find the missing publicity piece.
For the past two years, our Sammis|Ochoa team has worked with Costa Pacifica’s team and brand to develop a consistent digital marketing plan in collaboration with media relations and community program efforts. In the past year, we created and launched a program called “Costa con Corazon,” which connects the restaurant with non-profit partners and raises funds from one of the menu items to benefit the non-profit each quarter. The program has garnered media interest, with both digital mentions and TV appearances showcasing Costa con Corazon. Costa has also given back more than $2,000 San Antonio community charities, including San Antonio Sports and Big Brothers Big Sisters, among others.
