NOW HIRING FOR: ACCOUNT MANAGER
Our team is seeking interns to join our growing, innovative, fast-paced team to learn and gain hands-on experience in the field of public relations, in areas of expertise, including media relations, social media, community programming, strategic planning, and event coordination. All of these elements work together to ultimately share our clients’ stories with the world and energize the communities around us.
Responsibilities:
- Develop public relations campaigns including strategy, goals and tactics. Note: Previous experience with creating and implementing strategic development for communications, public relations, or marketing campaigns is preferred.
- Manage and delegate to a team of account coordinators and account assistants.
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking publicity and placements in print, broadcast, and online media.
- Direct social media support to execute strategy and engage audiences across traditional and new media.
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
- Create content, as needed, including press releases, etc.
- Use clientele and customer data to ensure ROI is demonstrated to clients for each campaign.
- Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a monthly basis, delivering End of Month (EOM) reports to clients, along with a discussion to explain analytics, ideas, progress and stuck points.
- Listen to and apply client feedback to reporting.
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and community programs on an ongoing basis.
- Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry news, as well as news around the city, affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
- Meet with core team (ownership, directors and managers) on a weekly basis to review top-level client news, company news and progress.
- Use project management system to delegate, keep up with self-assigned activities and team member-assigned activities.
- Keep team members accountable for completion of tasks and timeliness.
- Connect with the client routinely to keep a frequent communication channel of progress and deliverables.

- Share the purpose of our company, to energize, through you work, actions and words.
Required Skills:
- Desired experience in the fields of communications, public relations, or a related industry.
- Preferably 4-6 years of experience

Education:
- Working knowledge in the field of public relations
- Market knowledge of the San Antonio media and consumer market
