Industry Experience: 11 years
Tanya is the heart and soul of Sammis & Ochoa. She has dedicated her career to the promotion of her clients and their endeavors. Tanya’s experience includes management positions in public relations and the non-profit industry, in addition to community- and media-related work in the sports industry.
She has managed public relations and event coordination accounts for clients making an impact locally and across the world from the AT&T Championship to the Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner. Tanya’s expertise lies in media relationships and coverage, as well as producing and managing the communications elements of full-scale events. She finds joy in creating and nurturing relationships with clients, the media, community members and vendors. One of her favorite things about owning a business, in addition to having the opportunity to energize humans, is having found a business partner who complements her like bacon does eggs.
She recently combined her love of the ‘trep life with her enjoyment of CrossFit and recently launched a new endeavor, with the opening of CrossFit Virilis, alongside co-owner Jobie Zapico.
